For that price I would go with the Hankook V12s, they are a superior tire to the G-Max.

I have 225/40/19F and 245/40/19R And think they are great tires! They aren't as loud as the Hankooks and do very well in the rain. I would recommend them, especially for the price. The only issue I have is that in my first 1500 miles of having them, I don't think they are as sticky as the Hankook v12s of the same size.

In Texas, why aren't you just doing summer tires? Do you actually need all season?

Honestly, if I lived where you do, I'd never buy another all season tire for my car again.

If you're on stock rears, the 30 series may have too short of a sidewall and emphasis the bulge of the larger width.

can always call the manufacturer or reseller and see if they've had experience of that.

Fairly new and it's been well received thus far. Long term results for tread life and noise aren't quite out yet, but people have been impressed for the bang/buck return. Have seen similar performance to previous generation Generals (upper mid pack performers) but with a tad better steering response and dry handling compared to older models.

The 30's seem a bit short for keeping the od correct. We've always had best luck with 275/35-19.

Have you ever been to Dallas? We get all 4 seasons. Summer is brutal for 7 months, but the other 4-5 months we get harsh winter w rain/snow.

I just bought a pair of these and love them 225/40/19 front 255/40/19 rear because I couldn't get 245 but the look sick ride amazing and are the quietest tires I've had handling is super and the sidewalls are solid

I have to say I've had all the top brand tires spent way to much just to get 15k out of tires is a total waste of money these tires have a 112k warranty you can't beat I now will be buying generals the tread looks very aggressive aswell
