MREV2 + Motordyne 5/16" spacer! What a combo!!!!!!!!!!!

I had the MREV2 + 5/16" Iso Thermal plenum spacer installed yesterday. WOW!!!!!! What a difference! The gains are very noticeable and the car pulls much harder after 3500RPM. I would highly recommend you do this MOD if you have a Rev up engine!! Believe me YOU WILL NOT REGRET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PS: I took my car to Performance Factory and they guys over there seemed pretty knowledgeable. They told me that Im losing HP and torque because of my CAI. They said that our engines work better with the stock intake. He advised me to put my stock intake back and get a K&N drop-in filter. Would you guys agree with that? Please, give me your thoughts. Thank you!

Its arguable. I dont think it would be that much of a difference either way.

how long does the install take??? I'm a little hesitant of doing it because 1, warranty but could alway go back to stock if i have a problem, and 2 of running lean. But thats just my opinion.

You won't run lean. The older cars ECU are not as good as yours (I see you have an 06). As for install and remove, the first time might be long but it's not bad at all. Probably take a couple hours tops the first time. I have both of these for sale if you want. I'll giveanyone a break if they take both.

if you have a CAI, i'd recommend going towards the z-tube and popcharger. no chance of hydrolocking and better sounding that stock.

Is there any use for the OEM REVUP MREV?? I just did the MREV2 (great mod btw) and I have my stock one sitting in my garage.

What have you guys done with the part?

Dude, I keep all my stock parts! Why? Cause if I sell them, I will get BS money for them! My plan is to put everything back to stock when I sell the car. Then, it's a lot easier (and you will get more money too) to sell your aftermarket stuff!

Yoo, you're in Orlando, I'd love to meet up sometime and check out your G. I'm debating on getting the MREV but I want to see what gains it will yield. What type of pricing was it to get the MREV installed by performance factory?

No actual dyno results to prove it, but i'm running Z-Tube and a k&n drop-in filter which seems to be the best combo. Most intakes draw air from the engine bay, hot air = loss of power. The long tube intakes really suck because the added length means less velocity (try drinking a soda with 4ft straw). Long story short i think the stock setup + ztube + k&n is pretty much the best bet.

They charged me $127.50 + tax. (Installation took about 1.5 hours). Performance factory charges $85 per hour. If you do get the MREV2, take it to PErfomance FActory. You won't regret!!!
